Student Activities
The school has invited corporate leaders and Students from top Colleges for Guest Lectures, Workshops, Career Counseling, Mentoring. School also provides coaching facility for IIT JEE and Commerce inside school premises. With its strategic location adjacent to IIM Udaipur campus, the school is earmarked for some really innovative workshops, guest lectures and coaching in the coming years.
Sports and Games are special area of emphasis at IAPS. The school has spacious play fields and is fully equipped to train our children in almost all disciplines of sports and games. We have playgrounds for cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, basketball, badminton, skating etc. Permanent six-laned-race track are provided for various athletic activities.Indoor facilities are provided for table tennis, carom, chess and various other indoor games. The school has trained physical instructors and coaches who will train the students according to each ones ability and interest. All the children are encouraged to participate in various inter class and inter house tournaments and competitions.
We have two swimming pools . A kids pool and a full size pool. Right from the childhood, swimming is encouraged. Coaching is given under expert coaches for aquatic sports competition, on extra payment.
Our Swimming Pool offers a valuable development opportunity for pupils and also a desirable recreational facility which may be shared with the community. Most head teachers and governors generally realise the importance of ensuring that more people use these pools. However, the presence of a swimming pool entails certain responsibilities.
Gymnasium
The moderate exercise required in gym class helps students stay healthy. Most of the school day is spent sitting on chairs, so an hour of physical activity each school day allows students to move and therefore burn calories, build muscle and work out stress.
We have gymnasium with 16 stations for various exercises for Body-Building. Under expert coaches Body-building instructions are provided to children.
Extra Curricular Activities
The school encourages and motivates children to take part in a variety of cultural, literary and social activities like Public Speaking, Debates, Quizzes, Creative Writing, Dance, Dramatics, Music, Painting, N.C.C., Scouts and Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls, Roller-skating, Aerobics, Horse Riding, Shooting, Martial Arts, Yoga, Meditation etc. Frequent Class Picnics, Educational Tours and Excursions are an integral part of our Non-curricular activities.
The school has introduced some specialized activities targeting special groups through various clubs known as Science and Literary Club, Maths Club, Adventure Club, Nature and Health Club, Arts Club, Computer Club, equestrain club, Cultural and Heritage club, Histrionics Club and Reader’s forum.Each of which gives ample openings to every student to find an expression of their latent talents and abilities.
The students of IAPS are divided among four houses, for the purpose of various competitive activities as Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz. Inter house competitions are held in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. House activities are arranged for decentralization of authority and healthy competition among students. This is how we track down the real latent talent and encourage such talent for performance and achievements.
